Why did you choose to do this type of show? It gives me an excuse to leave the staff meeting at 4.30.

What is your favourite song of all time? Handbags and Gladrags, as performed by the man who wrote it - Mike D'Arbo with Manfred Mann.

If you could pick anyone, dead or alive, to have a drink with, who would it be and why? Waggy, aka Ken Wagstaff. Ex-Hull City striker, my boyhood football idol and the most exciting player never to play for England.

Describe yourself in one word: Not very good at doing things I am told to do.

Tell us something about you that we don't know: I was sacked from my first job (working in a greengrocer's) after five hours because the owner did not think I would make the grade. My redundancy pay was 50p.
