The What’s on show is packed full with information about events locally and regionally. Whether you want to get out and about in the countryside or see a show, whether you are entertaining the kids or friends there is hopefully something for everyone.

When is it on? Friday 5.00 – 6.00

Why did you choose to do this type of show? I moved to the area a couple of years ago and have been amazed by all the things going on in the village halls and other venues, we are just so lucky in Teesdale. We are also very lucky to have two theatre’s close by as well as a host of cultural venues in Durham and Newcastle sometimes there is too much to include in the show. Hopefully then it gets picked up by our other show “We should get out more”. There are also very good events guides but I wanted to provide more than just the date and time of events, with samples of music or the performance or an interview with the stars of the show – we are starting to get lots of celebrities to interview as well.

What is your favourite song of all time? I cant remember song titles and can only remember a song associated with a significant moment. I think one of my first dances with my husband was a Gary Glitter number but don’t know which one. I couldn’t be a DJ so will stick to What’s on. 

Describe yourself in one word: Busy

Tell us something about you that we don’t know: I absolutely hate spiders and I cant remember or tell jokes past a knock knock joke!
